Senior Helpers-Southcoast is hiring for Live-In Certified Caregiver needed immediately for a client located in ATTLEBORO, MA for 1:1 client-based homecare. We are seeking certified caregivers only (CHHA or CNA) who have a kind and patient demeanor who have prior experience working as a live-in caregiver with dementia experience.
This will be a 3 day schedule working within our clients assisted living residence.
Schedule Sunday 8am-Wednesday 8am
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Assist residents with mobility and transportation needs, including driving when necessary.
- Monitor and document residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Engage residents in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their quality of life.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the living space.
Experience:
- Must be able to speak, read & write in English
- Prior experience working as a live-in caregiver required
- CNA license preferred but not necessary
- HHA certification
- CPR Certification required
- Proof of pre-employment health physical and negative TB test result within past year required
